Mrs. Hill has BA in English and a Masters in Non-Fiction Writing from CSU Fresno, as well as Social Studies, English and Multiple Subject credentials.
Mrs. Hill, is a 6th grade language arts/social studies teacher. She has been teaching in the middle school setting for the past 26 years, fourteen of which were at Pioneer Middle School, nine at Liberty Middle School in Lemoore and three years abroad. She has also taught at the Walworth Barbour International School in Tel Aviv, Israel for two years and one year at the International School of Prague in the Czech Republic. She is excited to share what she has learned on her many travels with her students.
Through these experiences she has been able to travel and broaden her own experiences in teaching and learning. Mrs. Hill has BA in English and a Masters in Non-Fiction Writing from CSU Fresno, as well as Social Studies, English and Multiple Subject credentials. She has attended the San Joaquin Valley Writing Project, California History Project, Colonial Williamsburg Summer Institute, the Stratford Hall/Monticello History Institute, the National Endowment for the Humanities Beyond the Trail of Tears Institute in Cherokee, North Carolina and this past summer at the National Endowment for the Humanities The Civil War Changing Voices over Time Summer Seminar in Richmond, Virginia.
Mrs. Hill is a life long learner, continuing her own education through national worskshops. She hopes to instill a love for learning within her students!
