I realized a little later in life that my passion was teaching, having spent 14 years in the commercial banking world and even a stint as a tree surgeon. My family moved to the USA from England in 2000, which is when I decided to go back to school. My BS degree is in math education from CSU Chico, and prior to joining the Pioneer family I spent 10 years teaching math at Hanford High School.

I am married with three children, and I enjoy all kinds of sports, especially football and cricket!
