My name is Alyssa Camara and I am so excited to start teaching 4th grade at Frontier Elementary this year. This year brings a whole lot of excitement for me as I will be returning to teaching after staying home to raise my twins, Kase and Kinsley, for the last four years! That’s right, you read right, I am a twin mom and I love every second of it.
Being a Hanford native, I am so happy to be back and raising my family in this cute farming community. A few years ago, we moved to Barstow for my husband’s career and I had the opportunity to teach at the Fort Irwin National Training Center for 3 years. I loved the dynamics of military families and look forward to working with more of that population at Frontier. Prior to Fort Irwin, I was fortunate enough to teach in Lindsay with some amazing students.
Our family enjoys beach life, dune camping, and off-roading in the Mojave Desert. I enjoy Starbucks, Target runs, Amazon packages and any home decorating activities. I look forward to a great year this year and can’t wait to meet you all!! Stop by anytime, I love chatting!!!!
