Notice of Intention to Appoint School Board Trustee
Pioneer Union Elementary School District
Application Deadline: November 16, 2018

 


Due to lack of sufficient candidates for the upcoming special school board election in Trustee Area 2, the Governing Board of the Pioneer Union Elementary School District intends to provisionally appoint a qualified individual to the Governing Board, pursuant to Education Code section 5091. The appointed individual will fill the vacant position until the November 3, 2020 elections have been held and certified and a newly elected individual has been sworn–in to fill the board position.


Candidates must be 18 years of age or older, a citizen of the State, resident of the school district and Trustee Area 3, a registered voter, and not disqualified by the constitution or laws of the state from holding civil office.


Interested persons must provide a written Board Member Application furnishing their name, address, confirming they are 18 years of age or older and not disqualified from holding civil office.

Qualified individuals will be interviewed by the Board at a public meeting
