Mrs. Karen Jost is a graduate of Fresno State where she was a Liberal Studies major with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education. She completed her credential and acquired her Reading Specialist Credential from Fresno Pacific University. She has previously taught 1^st, 2nd, and 3rd grade and is now excited to be back in 1st grade. Mrs. Jost loves developing lessons that are fun and facilitate learning in a way the students can enjoy. She also loves to see the students make connections in their learning, especially as they learn to read.

Mrs. Jost enjoys spending time with her husband, her three daughters, her sons-in-law, and especially her granddaughters and grandsons. She enjoys sports, reading, music, going to the lake, and walking her dogs, Lexi and Axle. She is excited to be teaching at Frontier.
