Welcome to frontier elementary school. I absolutely enjoy my career as I have the privilege to cultivate learning and harvest knowledge & joy from my young learners in such a way that students will remember. I earned my bachelor's from Chapman University and my credential from Brandman University. This is my 9th year teaching in the classroom, but I have spent most of my adult life working with children. As a teacher, I spend the whole year educating my little learners and leading them to meet benchmarks while also fostering love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness and self-control in our classroom family. 

When I am not at school you will find me with my family adventuring in the wilderness. We enjoy camping in our rv and making new memories. I enjoy a good cup of coffee, hiking and thrifting. I am married with 4 children. Two have fled the nest and my two youngest are still at home, ages 13 and 17. 

I am excited each year about meeting new smiling faces and being their 2nd grade teacher!
