My name is Dawn Yarr and I am living my dream job as the Title 1 Teacher at Frontier Elementary. I am a veteran teacher who has worked full time for Pioneer Union School District since 1994.  I have taught grades first through eighth, but most recently  I have been primarily teaching reading intervention at Pioneer Middle School for the past 6 years.  

I grew up in a military family moving every few years, but I have lived in Hanford for most of my adult life raising two amazing sons. My interests are traveling around the world,  getting out into nature, yoga and meeting new people and sharing new experiences. You can often find me at the beach throwing a ball for my dog!
