Welcome to my page! Here's a bit of information to get to know me better! I am married and have 3 children and 2 bonus children; Madilyn and Cameron (27), Audra and Ashley (24), and Kaleb (16).  I've been a teacher for almost 3 decades! I taught 1st grade for almost a decade, 3rd grade, 5th grade a decade, and 6th grade, all in the Pioneer school district!

I received my BA in Liberal Studies from California State University Bakersfield; my teaching credential from Chapman University; and my ELD certification from University of Phoenix.

We live on a small farm, enjoy spending time as a family, especially with my son's baseball teams, and spending time at our beach house in Carlsbad-San Diego!

 

In my classroom, I have high expectations regarding being kind and helpful to each other.  I expect uplifting and positive words to be used and an open mindset for learning.  I also expect each student to work to the best of their ability, be respectful, have GRIT and promise to work hard. I also like to have a lot of fun and laugh in my classroom. However, there is a time for this and a time for serious learning. Your child will know the difference :o)
