Hello Everyone!

My name is Mr. Gomez, this is my fifth year here at Pioneer Middle School as a science teacher.  Prior to the middle school, I taught for 17 years at the high school level.  I feel fortunate to be part of a great science team and learn from my students to become a better teacher.​​  I earned my Bachelors of Science in Biology from CSU Fresno.  On my spare time I enjoy running and cycling.  I'm happily married and a proud parent of three wonderful children: first year college son, 6th grade boy, and a 4th grade girl.  I love getting involved with my kids sports soccer, basketball, and track.  I also like to participate in running events ranging from 5k's all the way through full marathons.  I look forward to a great school year.  I'm very excited to help coach cross country and track this year.  GO PANTHERS!
