Hello, my name is Emily McCaslin! I have been teaching art at Pioneer Middle School since 2016 (I also worked here in 2015 for six months as a long-term sub). I pour my heart and soul into teaching my students to tell their own stories through the power of artistic expression! I'm very fascinated with art history and I love sharing my knowledge with others. I am proficient in a variety of mediums, including but not limited to: drawing, painting, digital media, sculpture, and even print making. The most important thing to me is ensuring that every student I teach feels safe and loved so they can dive into the learning process daily with confidence. When I'm not teaching, all my spare time goes into coaching volleyball. I coach both Junior Varsity and Varsity here at the middle school and I assist a local volleyball club as a coach during the off season. I am also responsible for starting up the school's ukulele club! I teach beginners the basics and coordinate performances for  the more advanced musicians.
