Welcome to the library!

Here's a little information about me and our library. I was born and raised in Hanford and attended Pioneer from preschool to 8th grade, once a Panther, always a Panther! After Pioneer, I attended High School at Hanford East, where I was actively involved in theatre and choir. I'm happily married with 2 beautiful daughters, Zoey (6th grade) and Gwen (Kindergarten). Both share my love of reading and want to grow up to be authors.

I have been working in education for 9 years, 4 with Hanford Elementary and the last 5 with Pioneer. This is my 3rd year as our librarian. I am also in charge of the school's theatre club. Most of my free time is filled with girl scout meetings, various sports practices/ games, planning theatre club meetings and reading, of course! We love camping and go as often as we can.

Our library has been organized by genre to make finding the perfect book easier for everyone. Since students’ reading tastes are constantly evolving, I try to keep the library shelves updated with the most recent/ requested titles. We have a wishlist (linked below) for titles that aren't currently available in our library. Students make suggestions for it daily, so it is constantly being added to.
