Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten

My name is Mrs. Tillie Thigpin. I have been teaching Transitional Kindergarten since it was established in 2012. I love to teach TK and Kindergarten! I have been teaching at Pioneer School since 1995. I am a graduate of CSU Fresno and I have a CLAD certificate. I am married and I have three children: two daughters and a son. I also have three grandsons and one granddaughter!  I love to sew, quilt, read and collect recipes. I have wanted to be a Kindergarten teacher since I was 8 years old! I have been involved in Early Childhood Education since 1984.  I taught preschool and worked as a classroom aide and a substitute teacher before I came to Pioneer, my dream job! In 2015, I was PUESD's Teacher of the Year. I was humbled and proud to represent our school district as one of the top three candidates in the Kings County Teacher of the Year awards! I have PANTHER PRIDE!
