Welcome! My name is Wendy Denham, and I have been teaching in the Pioneer Elementary School District since 1989. I have watched this district grow from one K-8 school with about 350 students to the three schools we have today. I have taught grades Pre 1st-4th and have worked at both Pioneer and Frontier Elementary. I currently work as a Reading Intervention teacher at Pioneer Elementary.  I earned my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Liberal Studies from Fresno State. I also went on to earn my Masters degree in Reading as well as my Reading Specialist's Credential.

When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family. My husband and I often travel to Southern California to visit our adult son and daughter. I also like to travel to the beach, walk my dog and, of course, read!
