First Grade

Hello!

My name is Nicole Lopes. I earned my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Liberal Studies and my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from California State University, Fresno in 2010. I earned my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction in 2022. I have been a part of the Pioneer community for a very long time. I have been a parent of students here for over 17 years and I completed my student teaching here on this campus in a 5th grade classroom. This is my twelfth year teaching 1^st Grade at Pioneer Elementary and I love it!

My husband, Taylor, and I have four daughters. Morgan is in college, Graysen is a sophomore at Lemoore High School, Raegan is a freshman at Sierra Pacific, and Payten is in 7th grade at Pioneer Middle. When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, traveling, watching my kids' sporting events, and relaxing at the coast. I love sports! I watch everything from city leagues to high school, college teams, and professional. So, if you have a child on a team during the school year, let me know so I can try to attend a game or two. I am excited about this school year and I am looking forward to all of our successes here in room 603!
